Boom are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join Boom’s technical support team to work alongside the mix technicians, engineers and mixers to provide technical support for the day to day running of the mix studios and delivery of audio requirements to clients. As well as this they will be helping with Data IO and content transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and shut down of mixing studios
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the studio and the wider technical support team
- Deal with picture updates and getting these into the studio in a fast turnaround.
- Sending review QT’s and looking after remote set up and access to mixes.
- Look after creating deliverables and be responsible for delivering all elements to the highest standard.
- Assist and help with ad hoc tasks from other departments to ensure the smooth running of the company.
Skills:
- Some knowledge of Avid S6, Pro-Tools, MTRX/Dante routing, Dolby Atmos.
- Understanding and working to main broadcaster delivery specs
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work individually and also as part of wider team and communicate with clients in a professional manner.
- Willingness to work out of hours on occasion to meet deadlines (as required).
- Able to work systematically and calmly while under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
